Brit has been a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over 10 years and is enthusiastic, compassionate and curious. Originally from Wisconsin, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a dual Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and vocational evaluation, and from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology/occupational therapy. In addition to being a Counselor and Evaluator, Brit is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont where she teaches Counseling for Career and Lifestyle Development. Brit is an active Board Member of Kids’ Chance. She also enjoys collaborating with Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports and Green Mountain Adaptive and has a passion for adaptive sports.

Brit comes from a long line of dairy farmers where she observed vocation as a lifestyle. She understands the rippling disruption that comes from being out of work and losing that sense of identity, routine, community, and productivity. Brit is passionate about helping injured workers reach their vocational goals and return to meaningful employment.

Brit lives in Weybridge, VT with her family and can often be found with her two boys and their dog, Maple, playing in the dirt, chasing the snow, and dreaming of nordic skiing and biking.
