Bethany joined Vermont Vocational Services in September 2023 after recently moving to Vermont. She graduated with a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University in 2020. Since then, Bethany has been working as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and an adjunct professor for the West Virginia University counseling department.

Bethany believes in the importance of empowerment and work satisfaction and is passionate about helping Vermont workers discover, prepare for, and achieve their employment goals.

Growing up in West Virginia gave her personal insight into the value of meaningful employment, the physical, mental, and emotional effects that can accompany a loss of employment, and the joy of finding stability and fulfillment in a career.

Bethany is enjoying getting to know the Green Mountain State! She feels at home among the mountains and greenery and loves meeting the people of Vermont!
